As of October 13, Russian agrarians continued harvesting grains and pulses. Agrarians harvested grain crops throughout the general areas of 43.8 mln ha (on the same date in 2015 — 42.5 mln ha), or 92.8% of the planned areas (47.3 mln ha). The produced volumes reached 115 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 2.62 t/ha (in 2015 – 101.8 mln tonnes with the yield of 2.4 t/ha), reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In particular, agrarians harvested winter and spring wheat throughout 27.1 mln ha (97.8% of the plan). The produced volumes reached 75.6 mln tonnes, with the yield of 2.79 t/ha.
Russia harvested 19 mln tonnes of winter and spring barley throughout 8.1 mln ha (96.8%). The average yield totaled 2.35 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested corn for grain throughout 1.1 mln ha (36.9%), and produced 5.8 mln tonnes of the grain, with the average yield at 5.41 t/ha.
Russia harvested 532.3 thsd tonnes of rice throughout 82.8 thsd ha (40.2%). The average yield totaled 6.43 t/ha.
Russian agrarians continued the sunflower seed harvesting campaign. Agrarians harvested 6.2 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout 3.7 mln ha (49.7%). The average yield totaled 1.67 t/ha.
Also, Russia harvested rapeseed throughout 846.5 thsd ha (85.1%), and produced over 1 mln tonnes of the oilseed, with the average yield of 1.22 t/ha.
Also, agrarians continued harvesting soybeans: the harvested areas reached 1 mln ha (45.1%), the produced volumes – 1.7 mln tonnes, the average yield – 1.77 t/ha.
Russia harvested flaxseed throughout 45 thsd ha only, or 93.5% of the planted areas.
As of October 13, Russian agrarians planted winter crops for the harvest-2017 throughout 15.1 mln ha, or 86.9% of the planned areas (in 2015 — 14.8 mln ha).
