According to the Agency of Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in October 2016 the production volumes of flour from grains and other plant crops reached the record figures - 388.4 thsd tonnes. In particular, Kazakhstan increased the production due to growing of the production volumes of wheat flour - in October, the figure totaled 359.1 thsd tonnes.
Generally, in July-October of 2016 flour production in the country totaled 1.3 mln tonnes (up 3% compared with the same period in the season-2015/16), including wheat flour - 1.2 mln tonnes (up 5%).
