As of November 25, Russian agrarians continued harvesting grains and pulses. Agrarians harvested grain crops throughout the general areas of 45.6 mln ha (on the same date in 2015 — 43.9 mln ha), or 96.6% of the planned areas. The produced volumes reached 124 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 2.7 t/ha (in 2015 – 108.1 mln tonnes with the yield of 2.46 t/ha), reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In particular, agrarians already harvested corn for grain throughout 2.3 mln ha (80.5% of the plan), and produced 13.4 mln tonnes of the grain, with the average yield at 5.77 t/ha.
Russia harvested 1.3 mln tonnes of rice throughout 201.8 thsd ha (97.9%). The average yield totaled 6.45 t/ha.
Russian agrarians continued the sunflower seed harvesting campaign. Agrarians harvested 10.9 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout 6.9 mln ha (97.1%). The average yield totaled 1.58 t/ha.
Also, Russia harvested rapeseed throughout 892.5 thsd ha (89.7%), and produced 1.1 mln tonnes of the oilseed, with the average yield of 1.21 t/ha.
Agrarians continued harvesting soybeans: the harvested areas reached over 2 mln ha (93.4%), the produced volumes – 3.2 mln tonnes, the average yield – 1.55 t/ha.
As of November 25, Russian agrarians planted winter crops for the harvest-2017 throughout 17.3 mln ha, or 99.8% of the planned areas (in 2015 — 16.3 mln ha).
