In July-October, Kazakhstan increased the exports of wheat

According to the official customs figures, in July-October period of 2016/17 MY the exports of Kazakh wheat increased by 22% compared with the same period in 2015/16 MY, and totaled 1.1 mln tonnes. At the same time, Uzbekistan became the largest country-importer of Kazakh wheat, and purchased nearly 50% of the reporting grain volumes.

Also, during the first four months of the current season, Kazakhstan exported 0.7 mln tonnes of wheat flour, up 19% compared with the export volumes in the same period last year. Afghanistan became the largest country-importer of Kazakh flour – 64% of the volumes.
