Ukraine: in January-November, the sea ports increased grain cargoes shipments - Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority

In January-November of 2016, the Ukrainian sea ports processed 35.74 mln tonnes of grain cargoes (including 34.986 mln tonnes of grains), an increase of 6.7% compared with the same period of 2015. In particular, the grain exports totaled 34.813 mln tonnes (up 6.1%), declared the State Enterprise Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.

In the reporting period, state stevedoring companies processed 2.703 mln tonnes of grains at the berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (down 24.8% compared with January-November of 2015), private stevedoring companies at the berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority – 18.832 mln tonnes (up 21.7%), and stevedoring companies at their own berths – 14.204 mln tonnes (down 1.5%).

In addition, Mykolaiv Sea Trade Port processed 8.129 mln tonnes of grain cargoes, up 3.1% compared with the same index in 2015.

Also, Odessa Sea Commercial Port transshipped 7.539 mln tonnes of grain cargoes (down 2.7%), Commercial Port of Yuzhnyi – 7.228 mln tonnes (down 18.3%), Sea Commercial Port of Chernomorsk – 6.884 mln tonnes (up 57.6%), Oktiabrsk Port – 2.51 mln tonnes (up 23.1%), Kherson Port – 1.179 mln tonnes (up 36.3%), Berdiansk Port – 915.9 thsd tonnes (down 4.7%), Mariupol Port – 719.99 thsd tonnes (up 97.9%), Reni Port – 421.78 thsd tonnes (up 76.8%), and Izmail Port – 188.69 thsd tonnes (up 34.3%).
