The general planted areas of agricultural crops for the harvest-2017 in Russia will increase to 80.1 mln ha, up 0.6 mln ha compared with the previous year level, declared the Director of Department of plant growing, chemicalization and plant protection at the Ministry of Agriculture, Petr Chekmarev.
In the current year, the demand for mineral fertilizers totals 2.8 mln tonnes of active ingredient, up 8% compared with last year, the official added.
