At the end of the season, the carry-over stocks of grains in Russia will reach the level of 15 mln tonnes, which is quite standard level, covering all domestic needs in terms of crop failure, declared the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Evgeny Gromyko on January 22.

According to him, in terms of droughts, such carry-over stocks allow regrouping and preparing for any negative developments. There should always be a reserve.

According E.Gromyko, the carry-over stocks at the end of the season will not be "excessive, but sufficient”, to avoid any panic moods on the market.
