In its April report, the US Department of Agriculture reduced the forecast for the exports of wheat from Kazakhstan by 6.7%, from 7.5 mln tonnes, to 7 mln tonnes.
It is noted that the forecast of wheat imports increased from 60 thsd tonnes to 90 thsd tonnes.
As a reminder, in 2016 Kazakhstan harvested 23.7 mln tonnes of grains in bunker weight, up 18.5% compared with the production volumes in 2015.
