Since the beginning of 2016/17 MY, and as of April 19, the volume of grain exports from Russia totaled 29.789 mln tonnes, a decrease of 0.5% compared with the same period last season (29.951 mln tonnes), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation on April 24, referring to operative data of the Federal Customs Service of Russia.
In particular, the export volumes of wheat reached 23.003 mln tonnes from the general export volumes (up 5.7%), barley – 2.43 mln tonnes (down 39.9%), and corn – 4.146 mln tonnes (up 6.7%).
