According to APK-Inform figures, in 2017 the share of flaxseed planted areas in the general structure of crop planted areas in Belarus will rise to 0.94%, against 0.79% last year. It should be noted that Belarus increased the oilseed planted areas for the first time during six recent years.
According to the plans of the spring field works in 2017 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, the planted areas under flaxseed will reach 55 thsd ha, against 46.9 thsd ha last year.
