Ukraine: PJSC SFGCU exported over 63 thsd tonnes of flour milling products

Since the beginning of 2016/17 MY, PJSC State Food and Grain Corporation Ukraine supplied more than 63 thsd tonnes of flour milling products on foreign markets, and remained the largest exporter of flour from Ukraine, declared the Director of Elevator Activity and Sales of Finished Goods at PJSC SFGCU, Hennadii Hordiienko on April 11.

“Since July, we have shipped almost 43 thsd tonnes of flour and more than 20 thsd tonnes of wheat bran on foreign markets, which significantly exceed the indicators of last season. Thus, in the same period of 2015/16 marketing year the Corporation exported 19.5 thsd tonnes of flour and 4.7 thsd tonnes of wheat bran. We have got the increase more than twice”, – H.Hordiienko said.

According to him, in the current year SFGCU plans to expand the export portfolio of finished goods, and start supplying own-produced flakes and muesli on foreign markets.

As a reminder, in the current MY the State Corporation confidently holds the leading positions in flour exports from Ukraine. To date, SFGCU exports flour to North Africa, Angola, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, South Korea, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, etc.
