In 2017/18 MY, Kazakhstan will reduce its grain exports to 7.9 mln tonnes, against 8.2 mln tonnes in the current season, informed the International Grains Council (IGC) in its May report.
According to the announcement, in 2017/18 MY the production of grains in Kazakhstan will total 17.5 mln tonnes.
The beginning stocks of grains will reach 3.9 mln tonnes. In previous reports, the IGC experts followed the same figures. Also, in the current season the reserves reduced by 0.7 mln tonnes compared with last year.
