In July-March of the current season, the Azov Sea ports supplied 1.05 mln tonnes of Ukrainian grains and oilseeds on foreign markets, as well as its by-products, reported the Head of Agritrading project at UMG company, Walenti Selvesyuk on June 15 within frames of the II Mariupol Agrarian Forum.
According to him, Egypt became the largest country-importer of agricultural products, which purchased 270 thsd tonnes of products from the reporting volumes, Lebanon - 120 thsd tonnes, and Italy - 100 thsd tonnes.
In the current season, wheat remained the main export crop from the Azov Sea region. In particular, the share of wheat in the general volumes of supplied agricultural products to Egypt totaled 93%, Lebanon - 88%, Italy - 67%.
