In January-June of 2017, the production volumes of crude sunflower oil in Ukraine totaled 2.87 mln tonnes, an increase of 34.9% compared with the same period last year, reported the State Statistics Service of Ukraine on July 24.
In particular, in June 2017 Ukraine produced 451 thsd tonnes of sunflower oil, down 8.1% compared with the figures for May 2017, but up 45.2% compared with June 2016.
Also, in January-June of 2017 Ukrainian flour milling enterprises produced 914 thsd tonnes of flour, up 0.6% compared with the same period last year, reported the State Statistics Service.
In June 2017, Ukraine produced 151 thsd tonnes of flour, up 8.8% compared with May 2017, and up 12.5% compared with June 2016.
