As of July 24, Kazakhstan harvested 445.4 thsd tonnes of grains, a decrease of 100 thsd tonnes compared with the previous year, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the announcement, four oblasts harvested grains throughout the areas of 233.2 thsd ha, with the average yield at 1.91 t/ha.
In particular, Almaty oblast harvested 106.1 thsd tonnes of grains throughout 16.6% of the planned areas, Jambyl oblast - 214.3 thsd tonnes throughout 100.6 thsd ha, Kyzylorda oblast - 8.4 thsd tonnes, and South Kazakhstan oblast - 222.7 thsd tonnes of grains.
As a reminder, on July 24, 2016, the country harvested 545.5 thsd tonnes of grains, with the average yield at 2.11 t/ha.
