Kazakhstan will increase its grain processing capacities, reported the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan - Minister of Agriculture, Askar Myrzakhmetov.

There are only three acting deep-level grain processing plants in Kazakhstan which required modernization, and their capacities total less than 120 thsd tonnes.

At the expense of modernization processes and constructing of new facilities, by 2021 Kazakhstan will bring its deep-level grain processing figures to 1 mln tonnes, or up 9 times, which will focus on the production of bioethanol, molasses, starch, glucose-fructose syrup, gluten and organic acids, said A.Myrzakhmetov. The export volumes will total nearly 300 mln USD.

Also, the Minister noted that the reporting processing capacities will be mainly located in the major grain producing regions.
