Russia: in the second week of August, Krasnodar Krai seaports exported nearly 1 mln tonnes of grains

In the period of August 8-15, 2017, the sea ports of Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation (Novorossiysk, Yeisk, Temryuk, Kavkaz and Taman) shipped for exports 32 vessels with grains and its by-products, at the volume of more than 974 thsd tonnes, including over 903 thsd tonnes of wheat, reported the territorial administration of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) in Krasnodar Krai and the Republic of Adygea on August 17.

In the reporting period, the region supplied grain commodities to 19 countries, including Turkey, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Albania, Yemen, Egypt, Venezuela, Sudan, Tanzania, Qatar, Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, Tunisia, Georgia, Congo, the United Arab Emirates, Israel and Oman.

Also, Rosselkhoznadzor specified that to date the sea ports still continue loading wheat, barley, peas, wheat bran, corn stillage and rice flour on vessels, at the volume of over 1.087 mln tonnes.

The cargoes are scheduled to deliver to Egypt, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Kenya, Indonesia, Iceland, Nigeria, South Africa, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Israel.
