Kazakhstan: Ministry of Agriculture is actively expanding the geography of agricultural exports

To date, the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan is actively engaged in expanding the export geography and list of domestic agricultural products, reported the Ministry of Agriculture on August 25.

The Ministry focused on realization of the goal-oriented export policy. The authorities founded the Export centre of agricultural goods, which started working on development of new and expanding of current export channels, and forming large-scale export batches, informed the Ministry press-service.

It is specified that Kazakhstan already signed several agreements with Chinese companies for the exports of wheat, oilseed crops and vegetable oils. The Ministry plans to sign new agreements with the United Arab Emirates and Iran for the supply of lentils, there are negotiations in progress with Russian, Israeli, Hong Kong companies for shipments of sunflower seed, hard wheat, flour, chickpeas, peas and mutton meat.

In addition, Kazakhstan plans to get access to the Chinese market of beef, pork, dairy products, poultry products and live animals.

The Ministry of Agriculture, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is negotiating with veterinary services of Israel and Kuwait for supplying of Kazakh mutton, including the similar negotiations with other countries of the Persian Gulf, explained the officials.
