The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan announced the purchasing prices for grains, reported the press-service of the Ministry on August 31.

In the current harvesting season, the Ministry increased the price range for purchased wheat depending on its quality and delivery place.

So, the prices for 3-grade wheat with 23% gluten content and 12% protein content totaled 42`000 KZT/t, 3-grade wheat with 25% gluten content and 13% protein content – 45`000 KZT/t, 3-grade wheat with 27% gluten content and 14.5% protein content – 50`000 KZT/t (54`000 KZT/t – at grain receiving stations having the ability to calibrate grain bags), 3-grade wheat with 32% gluten content and 15% protein content – 60`000 KZT/t, 4-grade wheat with 20% gluten content and 11% protein content – 39`000 KZT/t, 4-grade wheat with 18% gluten content and 9.5% protein content – 37`000 KZT/t, 5-grade wheat – 33`000 KZT/t.

Also, purchasing prices for 2-grade barley increased to 40`000 KZT/t with delivery below 1 thsd tonnes, and 41`000 KZT/t with delivery over 1 thsd tonnes.
