In 2017, the growth rates of agricultural production in Russia will slow down to 1.5-2%, declared the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Alexander Tkachev.

Due to objective reasons, A.Tkachev considered that the growth would vary within 1.5-2%, but it is just a preliminary forecast - the statistics covers six months only, and Russian agrarians still continue providing the harvesting campaign.

Also, the Minister noted that in 2017, Russia plans to harvest at least 110 mln tonnes of grains, hereby keeping the recent forecast of grain production.
