As of October 12, Russian agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout the general areas of 43.7 mln ha (in 2016 - 43.8 mln ha), or 92.8% of the forecast. The production volumes of grains totaled 130.3 mln tonnes, with the average yield at 2.98 t/ha (in 2016 - 114.8 mln tonnes, and 2.62 t/ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

In particular, agrarians harvested winter and spring wheat throughout 26.7 mln ha (96.8%), and produced 86.7 mln tonnes of the grain, with the average yield of 3.24 t/ha.

Russia harvested 21.3 mln tonnes of winter and spring barley throughout 7.6 mln ha (96%). The average yield totaled 2.8 t/ha.

Agricultural producers continued harvesting corn for grain, and already produced 6.1 mln tonnes. The harvested areas reached 1.3 mln ha (44.6%), with the yield at 4.71 t/ha.

Also, agrarians continued harvesting rice: the production volumes reached 860.4 thsd tonnes, the harvested areas - 138.1 thsd ha (74.2%), and the average yield totaled 6.23 t/ha.

Agrarians continued harvesting sunflower seed, and already produced 5.4 mln tonnes of the oilseed. The harvested areas reached 3.1 mln ha (40.4%), with the yield at 1.71 t/ha.

Russia harvested rapeseed throughout 826.8 thsd ha (83.9%), and produced 1.4 mln tonnes of the oilseed. The average yield totaled 1.74 t/ha.

Russia already produced 1.9 mln tonnes of soybeans. The harvested areas reached 1.2 mln ha (44.8%), with the yield at 1.64 t/ha.

Also, Russia planted winter crops throughout 15.5 mln ha, or 88.9% of the planned areas (in 2016 - 14.8 mln ha).
