Russia: in January-September, NCSP Group increased grain shipment volumes

In January-September of 2017, the grain shipment volumes by enterprises of PJSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port (NCSP Group) totaled 7.464 mln tonnes, an increase of 84.4% compared with the same period last year, or up 3.417 mln tonnes, declared the press-service of the company.

According to the announcement, the export rates even increased by 5% year on year compared with January-August, mainly due to the general growth of grain production in Russia.

Also, in the reporting period the shipment volumes of chemical cargoes (including mineral fertilizers) lowered by 22.1% - to 571.4 thsd tonnes, and vegetable oils – up 1.4 times, to 336.7 thsd tonnes.

The Group operates two of the largest Russian ports – Port of Novorossiysk on the Black Sea coast, and Port of Primorsk on the Baltic Sea, as well as Port of Baltiysk in Kaliningrad oblast.
