In January-September of 2017, the production volumes of crude sunflower oil in Russia totaled 3.2 mln tonnes, an increase of 17.2% compared with the same period in 2016, reported the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat).
Also, in the reporting period the production of groats increased by 9.7%, to 1.027 mln tonnes.
At the same time, Russia decreased the production of wheat and wheat-rye flour – down 3.7% to 6.2 mln tonnes.
