Parallel to imposition of the export duties on wheat, the Government of Russia will apply additional administrative measures to control the grain exports, declared Arkady Dvorkovich, Vice Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, on December 25.

According to him, the reporting measures will include inspections of grain elevators and motor transport, which may illegally export grains. To date the administrative measures are already active, the grain export trading is realized in minimum volumes, said A.Dvorkovich.

Also, he stressed that the main objective of the reporting administrative measures is to prevent excessive grain exports.

Also, he reminded that to date the prices for milling wheat on the domestic market total nearly 9-10 thsd RUR/t, while the export prices - nearly 14 thsd RUR/t. According to A.Dvorkovich, such price gap should be removed. The Vice Prime Minister called the domestic price level as quite reasonable, taking into account the cost of production and the "standard" profit of producers.
