Russia to subsidize the Crimea
On May 19, 2014, the Federation Council of Russia approved the draft documents on the state support for agricultural producers of the Crimea and Sevastopol.
Thus, the Council considered the amendments to the rules of subsidies allocation and provision from the federal budget in order to support the economically viable regional programs on the agricultural development.
The Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia, Dmitry Yuriev added that the realization of the stated Decree does not need the additional financing from the federal budget.
