Crimea to accept the long-term program of water supply until the autumn 2014
The long-term scheme of water supply to the Republic of Crimea will be accepted until the autumn 2014, declared Sergei Donskoi, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation, on May 28.
According to him, within frames of the long-term program of water supply there is planned to consider a variety of solutions, including the provision of water resources from Krasnodar Krai of Russia, water desalination at the peninsula, and its supply by tanker fleet.
Also, S.Donskoi noted that the Government allocated 2.5 bln RUR for the short-term plan of water supply to the region. The authorities will start realizing the plan with drilling of wells for water, estimating and repairing the drains and reservoirs of the peninsula.
