Russia to impose retaliatory measures against the EU and US economic sanctions
Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, ordered to the Government of Russia to study the possibility to respond to the economic sanctions imposed against the country by the European Union and the USA, declared the Head of the State on August 5.
According to him, in the nearest future the Government will make the required proposal.
At the same time, V.Putin called the policy instruments of pressure on the economy as unacceptable and contradictory to all existing standards and regulations.
In the current conditions in order to support the interests of domestic commodity producers, V.Putin proposed to form the right response to the reporting sanctions. But it should be done very carefully, in order to support domestic producers, and not harm the consumers.
