In the Russian Federation the oil extraction industry is becoming less balanced, compared with previous years, declared Andrei Sizov, Executive Director of the analytical center SovEcon, to journalists of APK-Inform Agency.

According to him, the main processing facilities of the industry are located in the southern part of the country, while the base of raw material production continues gradually "moving away". The expert noted that agrarians of the Volga region may face a number of agronomic problems, trying to begin producing sunflower seed instead of wheat production.

You can receive more detailed information on the situation on the Russian market of oilseeds from the interview with the expert in the next issue of AGRIMARKET WEEKLY #43, dd. November 4, 2013.
