APK-Inform Agency presents the rating of companies-exporters of wheat and barley from Ukraine in 2015/16 MY. The TOP-3 of companies-leaders in wheat exports remained unchanged and demonstrates the following companies: NIBULON Ltd, PJSC State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine, and Cargill AT, which jointly supplied more than 20% of the annual export volumes (nearly 3.5 mln tonnes) on the global market. Generally, the TOP-10 of wheat exporters shipped more than 6.5 mln tonnes of the grain, or 40% of the whole export volumes of wheat from Ukraine.
So, in 2015/16 MY Ukraine supplied 17 mln tonnes of wheat on foreign markets. APK-Inform analysts estimated the export potential of wheat in the season-2016/17 at 12.3 mln tonnes.
The rating of barley companies-exporters is somewhat different, and in the TOP-3 includes the following companies: PJSC SFGCU, LLC Granum Invest, and NIBULON Ltd, which joint share of barley exports totaled 32% (more than 1.4 mln tonnes). Generally, the TOP-10 of barley exporters from Ukraine supplied 2.3 mln tonnes of the grain (52%) on foreign markets. So, in 2015/16 MY Ukraine exported 4.4 mln tonnes of barley. APK-Inform analysts estimated the export potential of Ukrainian barley in the season-2016/17 at 4.2 mln tonnes.
