In 2016, Ukraine supplied 370 thsd tonnes of flour on foreign markets, an increase of 21% compared with the previous year (305 thsd tonnes).
At the same time, in 2016 Ukraine exported flour to 88 countries, while in the previous year - 71 countries only. Also, it is worth noting that Ukraine realized exports of the batches at more than 1`000 tonnes to 30 countries, against 22 countries in 2015.
In particular, such countries as Libya, Somalia, Panama, the United Arab Emirates, Angola increased its purchases of Ukrainian flour. If in 2015 the TOP-10 of countries-importers covered nearly 90% of the supplies from Ukraine, then in 2016 their share reached 81%. The African market became one of the most perspective directions for such shipments. In 2016, the supplies to the region increased in almost 5 times, or up 47 thsd tonnes in absolute terms.
