The second international conference KazGrain-2019 was held in Nur-Sultan, on April 4-5.
APK-Inform Agency and AgroIndustria KZ became the organizers of the event. Traditionally, the association of legal entities "Grain Union of Kazakhstan" became the General Partner of the conference. The event is held under support of the Union of Grain Processors and Bakers of Kazakhstan.
The largest grain forum in Central Asia managed to round up a record number of participants — more than 350 grain producers, traders and processors, owners of elevators, importers of grains, pulses and flour from the EU and Asian countries, experts and operators of the global grain market, companies-suppliers of modern technologies and technical equipment, as well as representatives of the authorities of the country, industrial associations, etc.
The geography of the conference participants covered 27 countries — Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Russia and other countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the CIS, China and Europe. It should be noted that in the current year, delegates from Turkey, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, and Japan visited KazGrain.
The first conference day, April 4 — Kazgrain Market — focused on the global market trends in the grain and flour segments, forecasts for the new season-2019/20, formation of the demand rates from the key consumers — China, Iran, Central Asian countries, the supply from Kazakhstan and Russia, as well as the development and functioning features of the grain industry of Kazakhstan, innovation and investment issues, etc.
