For the first 8 months of 2019, Russia exported nearly 18.48 mln tonnes of wheat and meslin at the general sum of 3.83 bln USD. The supplies decreased by 33.6% on weight basis compared with the same period in 2018, and down 25.4% in monetary terms, declared the Federal Customs Service of Russia, on October 8.

Also, in the reporting period Russia exported nearly 2 mln tonnes of sunflower oil at the sum of 1.4 bln USD (up 37.2% on weight basis, and up 25.5% in monetary terms).

In January-July, the export volumes of Russian mineral fertilizers totaled 21.38 mln tonnes at the sum of 5.41 bln USD.

In particular, nitrogen fertilizers formed 9.11 mln tonnes (1.9 bln USD) of the reporting volumes, potash fertilizers — 5.43 mln tonnes (1.41 bln USD), and compound fertilizers — 6.84 mln tonnes (2.1 bln USD).
