As of July 1, the agricultural enterprises of Ukraine harvested grains and pulses throughout 384.8 thsd ha, down 72.3% compared to the same date last year, declared the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
The production of grains and pulses totaled 1.183 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 3.07 t/ha (down 10.5%).
In particular, the production of winter wheat totaled 260 thsd tonnes, with the average yield of 2.64 t/ha and the harvested areas — 98.3 thsd ha. Agrarians harvested 826 thsd tonnes of winter barley throughout 241.8 thsd ha, with the yield of 3.41 t/ha. In addition, they harvested 37 thsd tonnes of spring barley throughout 12 thsd ha, with the average yield of 3.05 t/ha. The production of peas totaled 60 thsd tonnes, the harvested areas — 32.4 thsd ha, and the yield — 1.82 t/ha.
Also, agricultural enterprises harvested 117.7 thsd tonnes of rapeseed throughout 71.3 thsd ha, with the yield at 1.64 t/ha.
