According to APK-Inform, the prices of Ukrainian corn at western borders continued developing differently last week.

Under condition of large domestic stocks, logistical problems and limited export opportunities, the import demand remained the key factor for price formation. The prices were slightly supported by reserved sales by farmers, who hoped for better price situation in case of resuming of shipments via Odesa’s seaports.

The bid prices of corn for delivery in August-September increased by 10-15 EUR/t to 195-210 EUR/t DAP Poland, 200-220 EUR/t DAP Hungary. The prices totaled 200-215 EUR/t DAP Romania, while they were not lower than 205 EUR/t DAP last week.
