The companies Brooklyn-Kiev and Louis Dreyfus Commodities Ukraine will construct the facilities for grain storage and drying at 40 thsd tonnes, as well as a platform for cars parking, throughout the recently acquired land plot in the Odessa port, declared the General Director of Brooklyn-Kiev LLC, Yuri Gubankov on November 11.

According to him, the possibility of constructing of facilities for drying and conditioning of goods is one of the limiting factors in the port of Odessa. Current sanitary regulations do not allow constructing the reporting facilities at the territory of Brooklyn-Kiev. In addition, the land area where the port is located, is almost "golden" land, and its usage for cars parking is unreasonable. Therefore, the companies decided to acquire some part of the EuroTerminal territory.

Y.Gubankov stressed that Louis Dreyfus Commodities Ukraine purchased the land plot, but two companies will participate in its further development.

As a reminder, in October the company Louis Dreyfus Commodities Ukraine acquired a 5-hectare land plot in Odessa from LLC EuroTerminal, which is located near the transshipment complex Brooklyn-Kiev.
