Ukraine: in the first half year, capital investments in agriculture increased - UAC

During the first six months of 2017, Ukraine raised 24.93 bln UAH of investments in agriculture, including fish farming and forestry, an increase of 43.3% compared with the same period last year, reported the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation (UAC) on August 31, with reference to the State Statistic Service of Ukraine.

Also, the structural share of capital investments in agriculture grew. So, in the first half of 2016 investments in the market segment totaled 14.5% of the general volume, but in 2017 they grew by 1.6%, and reached 16.1%.

It is noted that in the second quarter of 2017, the agricultural industry received 14.03 bln UAH of capital investments, up 28.7% compared with the Ist quarter of 2017.
