In 2017, investments in the Kazakh agricultural sector increased by almost 40%

In 2017, the investment volumes in the agro-industrial complex of Kazakhstan totaled 352 bln KZT, an increase of 39% compared with 2016, declared the First Vice-Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Arman Evniev.

To date, there are 4 active investment projects for milk and meat production and processing at the general sum 175 mln USD. In addition, there are also 20 projects with participation of foreign investors at 952 mln USD, said A.Evniev.

According to the Vice-Minister, in the reporting year investments in food production significantly increased – up 51%.
