For 11 months of 2019, investors provided more than 429 bln KZT of investments in the agricultural industry of Kazakhstan, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on January 10.
According to the announcement, in January-November of 2019 the agricultural industry of Kazakhstan received 429.049 bln KZT as investment volumes in the fixed capital. The sum increased by 37.3%, compared with the same period of the previous year.
In particular, internal funds of investors formed more than 77% of the reporting investments — 328.2 bln KZT (or more than 868 mln USD). Borrowed funds of banks and creditors totaled 100 bln KZT.
In 2019, investors provided most funds in the agricultural sector of North Kazakhstan oblast — almost 93.5 bln KZT (21.8% of the general volumes of investments in the country). Also, Akmola, Kostanay, Pavlodar and Turkistan oblasts received the large-scale investments (44.2-49.7 bln KZT each).
