Russia temporary banned export of grains to the EAEU countries as well as prohibited exporting white and raw sugar to the third countries, informed ElDala.kz citing the Ministry of Economic development of Russia.
The restrictions will remain in force until August 31, 2022.
“The measures are aimed on securing the food supply in the country and protecting the domestic market in the current conditions. At the same time, we maintain possibilities for cooperation with the EAEU countries”, – the ministry said.
The ban on the grain export covers wheat and meslin, rye, barley and corn. The restriction does not cover the supplies under export licenses issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
