The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan plans to extend export quotas on wheat and flour until October 1, 2022, according to a corresponding draft decree published, ElDala.kz reports.

The document says that 550 thsd tonnes of wheat and meslin and 370 thsd tonnes of wheat and rye flour are allowed for export until October 1.

The allowable limit for one applicant for the export of wheat is 50 thsd tonnes and flour – 10 thsd tonnes.

To export wheat it is necessary to sell 10% of the exported volume to Food Corporation at a fixed price.

As a reminder, in late April, the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan imposed the restrictions on export of wheat in the volumes of 1 mln tonnes and flour in the volumes of 300 thsd tonnes. As of June 9, quotas for export of 478.49 thsd tonnes of wheat and 249.45 thsd tonnes of flour were allocated.
