Uzyogmoysanoat Association is a general partner of the second international Asia Grains&Oils Conference in Tashkent that will be held on September 14-15.
The organization has been working for many years on the formation and development of the fat-and-oil industry in Uzbekistan. The country used to process only cottonseed, then after the reorganization of the association, it was decided to expand the fat-and-oil industry.
To date, more than 240 large and small fat-and-oil enterprises operate in Uzbekistan, which produce 60 types and more than 200 product ranges. In particular, 80 plants produce vegetable oils, 38 – margarine products, 25 – mayonnaise, 94 – laundry and perfume soaps, and 3 – distilled glycerin products.
“The Uzbek market is very open now: the country imports raw materials, exports vegetable oils, margarine and other fat-and-oil products”, – chairman of the board of Uzyogmoysanoat Association Oybek Zufarov said.
Uzyogmoysanoat Association currently unites more than 80 companies equipped with the most powerful and modern technologies in the country.
Representatives of the organization will talk about the prospects for the development of the fat-and-oil industry in Uzbekistan at Asia Grains&Oils Conference in Tashkent.
