Continuation of the active export rates of sunflower oil and soybeans from Ukraine specified the need to increase the forecasts of the products exports in 2019/20 MY.
As for sunflower oil, APK-Inform Agency slightly increased the export forecast by 0.8% compared with the previous estimations — to the record level of 6.2 mln tonnes, and soybeans — up 4.5%, to 2.3 mln tonnes.
According to the updated estimations, in November 2019 Ukraine exported 574 thsd tonnes of sunflower oil. In December and January, the shipments were preliminary estimated at nearly 580 thsd tonnes per month, which since the beginning of the season formed the general exports at the level of 2.53 mln tonnes (up 3% compared with the same period of 2018/19 MY).
