Among the speakers are representatives of well-known world organizations, as well as experts and direct participants in the grain market of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan:

The speakers will share their forecasts and assessments of the development of the global wheat market, taking into account possible scenarios in the face of uncertainty, which are associated not only with the ongoing military conflict in the Black Sea region but also with El Niño.
Since Kazakhstan remains a key producer and exporter of wheat and flour in the Central Asian region and the main supplier of products to Uzbekistan, the situation in its market – production volumes in 2023/24 MY, quality, export potential, competition with Russian products and price trends – will be given special attention.
We will also talk about the 2023 wheat harvest in Uzbekistan and the demand of local flour mills for grain, trade conditions, and logistics aspects in the new season. Taking into account the geographical location of Uzbekistan, weather and climatic conditions, and limited water resources, the presentation of the FAO expert will raise the issues of introducing conservation agriculture in the country and obtaining two crops a year with its use.
A new topic within the framework of this event will be the market of pulses of Uzbekistan and the country's prospects for production and export potential.
