For 7 months of 2023 (January-July), Kazakhstan exported 308.4 thsd tonnes of wheat flour to Uzbekistan. This is a record high for the past 5 years, APK-Inform reports, citing official statistics.
In particular, in July 2023, Kazakhstan shipped 49.74 thsd tonnes of wheat flour to Uzbekistan, which is 36% higher than in June.
For 7 months of 2022, Kazakhstan exported 215.3 thsd tonnes of this product to Uzbekistan (including 26.29 thsd tonnes in July 2022).
Uzbekistan still ranks 2nd in the list of buyers of Kazakh wheat flour, second only to Afghanistan.
