A delegation of oil refineries that are members of the Association of Fat and Oil Enterprises of the Republic of Uzbekistan "Uzyogmoysanoat" will take part in the third international conference "Asia Grains&Oils in Tashkent 2023", which will be held on September 14-15 in Tashkent.
The delegation will be headed by Oybek Zufarov, Chairman of the Board of the Association.
Currently, more than 80 companies equipped with the most powerful and modern technologies in the country are members of the Uzyogmoysanoat Association. The delegation will include representatives of more than 30 oil-producing enterprises, that include SAYXUN GOLD OIL, Khantex oil, Rizqu-Tojir, UMID-OIL, Karshi yog extraction, Uchkurgon yog, OLIYA, Kasbi yog ekstraksiya, BO`STON FOOD COMPANY, KOMIL DAVR, Best Grant Elite and many others.
The session dedicated to the oilseed market will become one of the key sessions in the Asia Grains&Oils in Tashkent 2023 agenda. Oybek Zufarov will be its moderator. Also, within the framework of the session, O. Zufarov will present a report on the topic: “Prospects for the fat and oil industry of Uzbekistan in the season-2023/24. Market of oilseeds and vegetable oils”.
Uzbekistan remains the largest consumer of oilseeds in the Central Asian region.
According to official statistics, Uzbekistan ranks second in the ranking of importers of Kazakh oilseeds, second only to China. For 10 months of the current season (October-July), 163.6 thsd tonnes of oilseeds were exported to this country, including about 86 thsd tonnes of sunflower seeds, and 26.42 thsd tonnes of soybeans.
In terms of purchases of Kazakh sunflower oil, Uzbekistan holds the first place. For 10 months of the current season, the country purchased 101.3 thsd tonnes of this product.
