Visa to Kazakhstan
ON RENEWAL OF VISA FREE REGIME
From January 1, 2022, the Government of Kazakhstan decided to resume the 30-day visa-free regime for citizens of 57 countries, according to which citizens of:
Australia, USA, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, UAE, Vatican, Vietnam, Germany, Greece, Denmark, New Zealand, Japan, Israel, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Indonesia, Italy, Canada, Qatar, Cyprus, Colombia, South Korea, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Lichtenstein, Luxemburg, Hungary, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Thailand, Turkey, UK, Philippines, France, Croatia, Czech Republic, Chile, Switzerland, Sweden, Estonia
can enter Kazakhstan without visa, if the period of their stay in the country does not exceed 30 calendar days from the moment of crossing the border, in total 90 calendar days during each period of 180 calendar days.
The 72-hour visa-free regime is still suspended for citizens of China and India transiting through the international airports of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent, Aktau, Karaganda and Taraz.
IMPORTANT:
In order to prevent further spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus infection across the territory of Kazakhstan, foreigners are currently entering Kazakhstan in accordance with the Procedure for crossing the State Border of Kazakhstan from May 11, 2020 for the period of quarantine restrictions (see link).

Special permission from the Interdepartmental Commission to prevent the emergence and spread of coronavirus infection across the territory of Kazakhstan is not required when issuing visas for citizens of: India, Maldives, Sri Lanka (at the same time, visa support from Kazakhstan for issuing visa is required).
