On March 3, within frames of the international conference Middle East Grains&Oils Congress in Cairo there will be held the workshop on risk management and the major pricing mechanisms for physical contracts.
The leading global experts such as the Senior specialist on commodities derivatives of the Agricultural division at EMEA S&P Global Platts, Alexandre Bobylov, and the Senior Director on Agricultural Commodities at CME Group, Eric Hasham, will answer the following important issues:
- What is price risk management, and why is it so important to use the mechanism?
- Futures and options on the market of grain crops and vegetable oils: how to use them for the purpose of risk management?
Also, the experts will report about price indices in the segments of raw commodities, in particular the price indices of Black Sea wheat, corn and vegetable oils.
