According to APK-Inform figures, operators of the Ukrainian export market started declaring preliminary prices for sunflower meal from new crop raw materials.
As of June 13, export offer prices for the product from new crop sunflower seed usually varied at the level of 240 USD/t FOB. At the same time, bid prices for the product with delivery in October-December mainly did not exceed 220 USD/t FOB.
It is worth noting that in 2017, the companies started declaring starting export prices for sunflower meal in late July, which mainly varied within the range of 185-200 USD/t FOB (offers) and 175 USD/t FOB (bids).
The prospects for development of Ukrainian sunflower meal supplies to China will become one of the key topics in the agenda of the international conference Sunflower Oil & Meal Trade Conference, which takes place in Shanghai (China), on June 27.
