In July 2019, Ukraine already supplied 700 thsd tonnes of oilseeds on foreign markets, an increase of 400 thsd tonnes compared with the same date last season, declared the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFSCP).
Generally, in the first month of 2019/20 MY Ukraine exported more than 3.7 mln tonnes of grain crops, up 1.3 mln tonnes compared with the same period of 2018/19 MY. In particular, the exports of wheat totaled 1.4 mln tonnes (up 0.4 mln tonnes), including over 900 thsd tonnes of milling wheat (up 300 thsd tonnes), and over 400 thsd tonnes of feed wheat. At the same time, the supplies of barley reached 1 mln tonnes (up 400 thsd tonnes).
The monthly figures indicated the general growth of grain exports, including the supplies of wheat and barley, added the SSUFSCP.
Also, in the reporting period Ukraine exported 1.3 mln tonnes of corn, up 600 thsd tonnes compared with July 2018.
