The Ukrainian Scientific-Research Institute of fats and oils of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, and the State Scientific Institution the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Fats of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences provide support to the conference “AOCS Oils and Fats: World Market Update 2013" (Kiev, April 3-4, 2013, national center of business and cultural cooperation "Ukrainian House"). Within frames of the event Alexander Lisitsyn, Director of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Fats, will present his report on "Science Based Technology Development for Production of High Quality Vegetable Oils”.
The fact that for the first time in Ukraine the American Oil Chemists Society (AOCS) holds specialized technological courses: “Oilseed Processing and Solvent Extraction of Vegetable Oils” and “Fundamentals of Edible Oils Refining and Special Considerations in Sunflower Oil Processing” within frames of the reporting conference will become a very important event for development of the domestic fat-and-oil industry. The programs of the courses are fully completed and already available. The course participants will receive certificates of the AOCS! The practical courses allow to specialists of the companies to learn about new products and current practices, and also to communicate with the world leading experts and technologists of the industry. It is worth noting that within frames of the course “Oilseed Processing and Solvent Extraction of Vegetable Oils” Maria Domoroschenkova, Head of Department of production of food vegetable proteins and biotechnologies of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Fats, will present her report "Processing of Oilseed Meals to Produce High Protein Products".
